Steve Milby, how about you?
While going back through the Mainsheet I see an article by you in the Feb 2002 issue, at that time Jim Meier was Commodore.
By the following issue May 2002, Ed Jacubas was Commodore.
Could/would you inform the members as to what changes the Assoc. went through during that time, why the changes happened and how officers were elected before Commodore Jacubas’ tenure?

BTW Steve Milby served as Commodore in 1984-85 (a good thing).

Turned out with Hanna threatening we suddenly became motivated to get some adequate ground tackle. We looked around local stores and only found Danforth's so I guess that's the most used in our area. The starboard one would have the arm set outboard & back so the tailed line falls into the cockpit, the port arm would be set inboard and angled forward. You always load a winch clockwise, it would seem to me you'd want to favor your right arm (presuming you're right handed), so crank with your left & tail with your right if necessary.

I've never actually added winches, so take my thoughts with a grain of salt, but it makes sense to me. What have other folks done? No rips, just the stitching is coming off. So if you can operate a good sewing machine, you can re-stitch them.
