Also, is there still interest in "regional" regattas and if so what are the most important aspects to pulling one off??

Reviving this old thread just to say there are at least 40 active Capri 25's in Idaho, Montana and Minnesota. Star of North, Spud Cup and Montana Cup are all worthy regattas to travel to. These fleets are thriving because the CP25 is inexpensive, fun to race and cruise and the owners are awesome. It seems this class association is debunked and irrelevant, which is sad. But it seems like no one here is paying attention to what is actually being done out in the wild.

Only three rules here in the racing forum.

1 - keep it to racing, The association has broken the forum into these segments to help classify stuff please assist us in posting in the appropriate place.
2 - This forum is to help everyone. Strong class associations develop from comraderie and the instruction by the stronger sailors. Please share as much info as possible. We are only as strong as our slowest guy.
3 - Remember Rule number 2.
