When it comes to the Catalina 25 & 250, we probably move more product than any other boat sale board on the web. Want your boat to sell faster, make sure your post has the following - the people will ask, so you'll want to include it the first time

[*]Description including year and hull number if possible. Description of modifications if known. Tall or Standard Rig and type of keel
[*]Sails included in the sale; size, type, maker, age
[*]Other amenities – electronics, specialty rigging, etc.
[*]Motor – Brand, year, size, condition – If applicable.
[*]Trailer – Yes or No
[*]Why are you selling
[*]How much do you want for it. or "make offer" etc
[*]Location of the vessel currently
[*]Has the vessel been sailed in Saltwater?
[*]Your Name – people do not like dealing with forum names. Also Make sure your profile is fully updated if at all possible.
[*]Your email, phone number and best times to call

Also - people will respond here with questions. The guys that check back to answer them usually sell their boat quicker.

Good Luck - and encourage all of your buyers to visit our forum and join our association.

Please do not place multiple posts for any items you are selling or buying in other areas of this forum

Another very important point.

If you post an item for sale in the swap meet... Make sure your email is valid! We have had items placed in the swapmeet that visitors have responded to only to find they get no response from the seller, and that is due to invalid sellers email address.

So before you post an item to the swap meet, make sure that your profile has the correct email address (it may have an old address that is no longer active) otherwise, you will never receive notices from potential buyers.
