My boat hull #30 was recently totaled by my insurance company. I'm thinking about another Capri 25. I'm in the San Francisco bay area if anyone knows of a boat for sell on the west coast. Doesn't have to have great gear but it needs to be structurally sound. i.e.. the keel. Thanks, Scott
I'm selling my Capri 25 (Hull #67). It's pulled for the winter sitting on the trailer in Sandpoint, ID. That's a long way from San Fransisco, but maybe the price is right... Here's the details:
1981 Capri 25 (Hull #67) Ready to sail $6,900 Exterior is in excellent condition. No blisters or soft spots. Below waterline receives yearly coat of VC-17. Above deck, all wood refinished last winter. Mast, boom, and spinnaker pole in excellent condition. Standing and running rigging in very good condition Includes 5 sails (Main, 110, 130, 155, and spinnaker)from North Sails. Some are getting a little tired, but they work fine for club racing.
Newer 4 hp Tohatsu outboard (purchased new in 2013, probably 10 hours total)Anchor, fenders, swim ladder, life jackets, etc. included.Price also includes trailer with spare (I hauled the boat to Sandpoint from Utah without problems).
