Believe it or not, someone stole my trailer winch.
My local marine store has several models similar to the one that comes with the 250 WB trailer... 900 lbs, 1,000 lbs, 1,800 lbs. Is the 1,800 lbs sturdy enough? Can someone be kind enough to check the model of his/her winch and let me know which one I should buy?

It is a Fulton T2005 two speed that says max line pull 2000 pounds. I think they still make it. You can find it on Amazon.
