New to this. Just bought a 25 wing keel,89. Need some one close to sail w/ learn the ropes, etc. any one close to Asheville NC?

Welcome to the forum Curtis! Wish I could help, but I'll be over 7 hours away all summer.

I suggest you consider joining Asheville Sailing Club. Membership is only $50. a year for family membership or $40. for a single. They have an active racing program. Crewing on a race boat is a good way to learn. They can teach you what you need to know.

I own a 1987 C25 wing keel std. rig. Also previous owner of a 1989 C25 wing keel, std. rig. Feel free to ask questions. Welcome aboard.

After a few lessons we learned on our C25. I think it was a great boat for this.
