My son took the burner cover/ cutting board that was on our boat from the previous owner and CNC'd the Catalina 250 logo on it.

After a couple of coats of epoxy

After polish/ wax

Installed in our galley

Looks great! I hope your epoxy is formulated for good UV resistance. If not, even modest amounts of UV (which will come in through the windows) may cause pretty bad yellowing and possibly cracking/delamination. If so, this could be prevented with an overcoat of spar varnish (or polyurethane) that's formulated to adhere and protect against UV.

Jeff,
That’s a nice project.
Over the years, Catalina had several versions of stoves.
Earlier models had Propane stoves behind the sink, the “Princess” stove.
It looks like you have a Butane stove, which is from a later year.
I would guess your hull is over 800 and after 2005.
