Looking to hire an experienced, insured individual or company to transport a C25 on its own trailer from Buffalo, NY to Fort Worth, Texas. I am looking for leads and ideas. The quotes so far are too high. THANKS!

I've heard that uship adds 20% to the quotes from shipping companies. I was told that it is better to contact the towing companies directly. I'll see the guy that told me this tomorrow. I'll ask him how to find them.

also maybe try a craigslist ad under gigs. I'd still imagine that a tow that far will cost close to 1k to 2k. many people sell the boat and buy a new one when they get there.

Try Rita at 713-569-5866. A married couple who freelance out of Houston. They brought our C22 from Oklahoma to Canyon Lake 5 years ago.

If you can wait for the Spring, you may find new boat transporters that will have an empty rig returning south. I t worked well for me when I moved from NYC to central Florida. Check with new boat dealers in your area.

Thanks all for the information shared. My potential buyer decided against the purchase of our boat due to the transport costs.
