It is with much sadness to report that I have sold PiSeasII. As such, according to the by laws in which ownership is required to hold office, I am not able to continue as an officer. I will stay on till end of this term. I will do my best to assist in the transition for the new treasurer. It has been my pleasure to serve and to be a member of this organization. The new owners of PiSeasII, has recently joined w/o much coaxing on my part. One only has to share the value of our Association and wealth of information members of the forum offer. I know you all will not let me down in that matter. I will be moving on here but hope to continue on in some small way with sailing. I will miss boat ownership as PiSeasII has been a very big part of my life the last 8 Years and this will certainly leave a very large hole in my heart. I will always have a love for sailing and being on the ocean. The saying the best 2 days for a boater are buying and selling your boat. This is certainly not true for me. How can someone be glad to give up something that holds so many fond memories. Sailing has never wronged me. I have always returned back home safe and not been stranded where I should not be. I have always been given a gift each time I went out. If you treat her right, you will get 100 times more back in love. I will always cherish those memories. I have never taken sailing for granted and have great respect for the ocean. Please think of me next time you are out and how lucky you truly are. I wish all of you and this Association well. Steve Auerbach, fellow sailor for ever.....

Thank you
Nominations are open for all Officers of the Association. Our Commodore, Russ Johnson has stepped up and wants to continue in the job he has done so well. Unfortunately Steve needs to leave as Treasurer and we will need a strong financial person to fill his shoes.
I feel it's time that someone from the racing community take over as Vice Commodore. The responsibilities are;
"VICE COMMODORE: The Vice Commodore shall, in the absence of the Commodore, preside and perform the duties of the Commodore, and such other duties as specified by the Commodore. The Vice Commodore shall serve as Chairman of the Nationals Organizing Committee (“NOC”) and, as such, shall solicit bids from the Fleets to host the Nationals for the following year (Article VII). "
This is a great Association and it now needs members to step up to keep it going.
