Congrats Gerardo.

Is the boat registered with us by the previous owner? (use the Boat Search Feature to find out)

Hi Gerardo,

I wonder if the boat was one that was already registered on our site? (nothing to do with Title)

Using the Boat Search for Tx I found two boats in Tyler Tx.

Hull #:5829 and Hull #:4198 but they are both C25's

FYI, you will be the first Association Member in Mexico and would have the first boat registered on our site from Mexico

(Just a hint!)

Here's the Membership link

You can add your boat to your Member's Profile.

If not planning on joining the association, then here's the link to just register your boat (click on Add Your Boat)

Look for the 'id number' that you have on the inscribed HIN that is just under the rub rail on the stbd aft end of the hull.

Paul

Did I mention about becoming a member

For a simple hull number, most of us use a truncated version of the Hull ID Number (HIN). For instance, my HIN is CTYA0348J798. My sail says 348. In my HIN, 798 has to do with the month/year of manufacture, and J is the month of certification (or some other nonsense).

So for your boat number, it's the four digits after CTYA. For a '95 boat, it will be a lower number than 348.

I believe that this truncated hull number (348) is also engraved into a plate on the front side of my fuel locker, so you can look there also.

The full HIN is etched under the rub rail on the starboard aft part of the hull. I believe that is is also glassed inside the starboard settee in the cabin.
