My girlfriend and I are joining another couple for a 10 day sailing excursion the end of October and first of November. We have never been before. Looking for any advice on where to go and what to do while we are there. Cruising on 43' Beneteau.
Good idea to go with another couple, we charted last year just the two of us, did not allow for me to get much of a break (but the weather was pretty heavy).
If you go to Jost Van Dyke, then plan on being their overnight and enjoy the social life (very very relaxed except in the big bar where it can get a bit looney)
Christmas cove is a really quite anchorage.
If the charter company points out any 'Take this route' then heed their advice!

Drink the Rum, eat the food, snorkel every chance, if there is a shore walk/hike take it.
After many years in the Royal Navy visiting so many countries, I learnt to Do what the locals do, Go where the locals go, eat what the locals eat (except in India) and dance like the locals. If there is an opportunity to do something unique then before you turn it down, ask if you will ever be there again!
