Hello,
I'm looking for the manual for the Capri 25. The file which downloads under the Capri 25 manual is the class association by-laws, not the manual.

Do any of you have the manual?

I've never seen one like you are asking for. I think the forum library is the best information available.

Thanks Joe,

Based upon your comment, I called Catalina Direct, and found the following statement IRT the Capri 25 manual:
"Catalina Yachts never published an official owners manual. But we have compiled all the information we could locate about the Capri 25. From a collection of brochures and early order forms, to line drawings and early engineering drawings, as well as a list of currently available parts for the Capri 25."

I called, and they told me the "manual" has about 50 pages of information. I ordered it, hoping it will contain more information than what we already have on this site. I'll let you know!

Thanks,
Seahawk

Got the manual. Not a lot of info, but several drawings not currently on this site. One explains the three gudgeons on transom are motor mounts. See motor mount thread for some more info.

Nice work Seahawk.
Are you going to post the new drawings here?
I'd like to see what you found.

I would like to post the additional drawings here. Has Catalina every made an issue about Copyrights for their drawings? It seems implausible that they would mind the class association sharing information on their boats, but I did pay to get the "manual" from them. Some of the drawings are already on the site, others are not.

Thoughts?

Jeff,

We would be glad to post the drawings.
If you need help, you can send me an email, with the documents to post.

Thanks, Russ

It seems to me that since we have "some" drawings on this site produced by Catalina and have no kickback that I've heard of, then adding a few more should not present a problem.
