Found this on the 2000 WK boat I just purchased. Behind an after-market in-hull transducer is a solid, black, flexible, slightly tacky substance, much like a partially cured sealant. It runs from the transducer underneath the water tank, nearly all the way back to the compression post. Any thoughts on what it could be?
Also, for the life of me I cannot figure out how to get a pic from onedrive to post consistently. I have tried multiple ways, sometimes it works, then I check back a day later and it is no longer working. Anyone else experience this behavior?
Must be what they seated the transducer in and it ran before it set up. I have my transducer set in silicone under the water tank in the forward locker. It does not penetrate the hull.
Regarding your tech issue with OneDrive, I use Photobucket instead. It has been completely reliable. Photobucket app for smartphones makes uploading from your phone's camera very easy.

I have used photobucket in the past, but I find onedrive more convenient. I just haven't figured out how to reliably get it to post in line in a post. It always comes out too big.
No option for what size you want? I use Flickr, Every photo has the option for small, med, large and thumbnail. For this site I usually use the medium so you don't need a wide screen to view it.
