The jib was, for convenience, recently replaced by a new roller furler and sail on our C250. The hank-on jib is like new in excellent shape, no stains, spots, sags, tears or wrinkles complete with jib hanks and sail bag.

Asking $200.00 US or $250.00 Canadian plus shipping if required.
reduced to $150.00 US or $200.00 CDN
reduced to $50.00 US or $80.00 CAD

Henk & Johanna: Assuming that the 110% hank on would fit my Catalina-25 standard rig, I will take it off your hands for the $50.00US. Just so happens I blew out my 105% this season and was really looking to get a 110% made. If this fits you have a deal. If not, maybe deal anyway as can get sailmaker to adjust.

Paul - you must have just beat me to it on this deal. I took too long measuring over the labor day weekend and never heard back. Hopefully you have a nice new-to-you jib by now. Maybe you can share the story on blowing out the old one, I imagine its a good one. For what it's worth, I documented what I could on my sails, and the difference between a C25 and C250 standard rig sail plan.

Short answer: that jib will be about an 85% on a C25.

Longer answer: Basically the two boats are very similar. mast height is the same at 29.0 ft. Forestay on the C25 is about 5-6 inches longer. the biggest difference is with the J dimension (base of mast to forestay, that is 1.5 feet longer on the C25. That is made up by a shorter E dimension on the C25 (boom - mast to outhaul). So the two boats are within 5 sq. ft of total sail area with the C25 larger, but a 100% Jib on the C25 is has about 22 more sq. ft. than the C250. So a 100% C250 jib on the C25 works out to 85% coverage. That should be just about perfect for those windier days on SF bay. It's similar coverage as my small jib that I was trying to fix or replace, but just taller and narrower. Hope it works out well -
