I was fortunate to be able to charter a boat and put a crew together to run the Harvest Moon Race out of Galveston. One of our crew put together this video of the race. We had a great time and plan to run it again next year. We sailed 126 miles on a course of about 90 miles in a little over 22 hours. We lost our chart plotter on the first leg and used an i-pad with Navionics to help us on the rest of the course.

Paradise used to be docked just down the dock from me at Watergate. Looks like she's now docked next door at Waterford Harbor.

Clear Lake and central Galveston Bay are my stomping grounds.

Paradise is a good sailing boat. She is not a good boat to sleep in while underway and had several issues with equipment. We plan to run again next year but are looking at a different boat.
