There aren't very many good options. Of course put it on CL. Then try http://www.sailboatlistings.com/ and then http://www.sailingtexas.com/

I listed mine on all three of those at the same time. It sold on day 3 from a Craigslist buyer.

Even though the boat was in Philadelphia, I listed it in Annapolis because that’s where all the sailors look. So if you have a CL site in a big sailing community, I’d list there even if it’s a ways away. People will travel for a good boat.

I found ours here under the swap meet when zeil decided to sell Someday Lady. Lucky us! And I agree that people will travel for a good boat. We are in Portland, OR and we drove to Vancouver BC for her.

For a sailor in Denver you might also advertise in Salt Lake City, in Lake Tahoe and in Kansas City. A wing keel boat can be more easily trailered so these markets are practical for transport.

DJ - hey I'm in Colorado too. I just sold a Zodiac RIB on Craigslist, had it listed in Denver, Salt Lake, and Phoenix. Zero calls from Denver and Salt Lake, 12 calls from Phoenix.

Try Phoenix as those guys are closer to salt water.

I have a 1999 WK #408 with the original sail and 7 year old jib both in good shape. It has a a 2017 Honda XL electric start. The boat is in CT on Long Island sound. Overall I'd say it is in very good shape.

How can I get a fair estimate of what I should list it for? Is CL a good place to start?

Also check sailboatlistings.com. Their listings don't seem to expire so you can see more history.
