The vinyl rub rail is sagging out of a short section of the aluminum frame on my C-25 and I suspect this is a pretty common problem. I checked the replacement cost - which is not too bad - but I'm wondering if anyone has a less expensive fix to get me through at least the rest of the season without taking on a major replacement project right now?

If the aluminum isn't damaged then you should be able to put it back in by warming the vinyl to make it pliable and some dish soap to help ease it back in. May need a rubber mallet.

I don't think it is a common problem. It could happen from hitting some in a grazing blow. As suggested, warm it, press int into place. Keep pressure on it until it cools since it likely has stretched and needs to shorten itself while still malleable.
