Catalina 25 Swing Keel - 1980
Located in Setauket NY.

Original Main
Roller Furler with oversized head sail. (North Sail)
Johnson 8HP outboard (Will need a tune-up)
No Trailer!

The boat is in good condition but I just don't have the time to maintain it.
It needs some TLC but it's otherwise a solid sailboat in solid condition.
Hoping to find someone who is looking for a minimal project.
I refuse to donate it and let it go to scrap.

It would certainly be nice if someone wanting to get into sailing takes it. However you might also look into donating it.

Might google an inner city sailing club, many offer boating access to underprivileged kids. Sound waters in Stamford is one. Another is https://hudsonsailing.org/.
Not sure of your circumstances but you would get a receipt for $5-7K to deduct from taxes now that SALT tax deductibility is no longer.
