I purchased a Magic Tilt galvanized trailer right before Hurricane Ike hoping to get my boat to safety. Unfortunately there wasn't enough time to get the trailer ready. Luckily my boat survived by moving to a hurricane hole marina.

The trailer was originally built for a Hunter 260 and has never touched the water. The original owner had his new 260 lifted into the water with a Travel Lift.

Over time I modified the trailer to fit my C25. I've test fit the boat on the trailer once but have never had the need to tow the boat as it stays in the water year round.

I'm now thinking of selling the boat and the trailer or possibly selling the trailer and selling the boat later. I realize it would be ideal to keep the trailer and offer the boat and trailer as a package as it would appeal to a wider audience but I would really like to eliminate the trailer $270/month storage fee as soon as possible.

Does anyone have a suggestion on what the trailer might be worth or a suggested selling price? It's been in an enclosed stall most of it's life.

FYI Cape Cod Shipbuilders who make the 15' Bullseye charge $4,260 for a trailer.

Gary,

You might try contacting Triad Trailers in North Carolina and request a quote for a new trailer. Triad specializes on sailboat trailers for boats like Catalina 25's. Get a price and then offer your trailer at a percentage (@50%?) of the new price.
