This is a "better-than-new," high-performance replacement swing keel assembly for a Catalina 25. This was painstakingly built for my personal project boat, but plans have changed and the hull is being scrapped. I did professional marine fabrication and composite work for a living—this foil was shaped and sealed correctly to last a lifetime.

If you have a rusty, thumping, or asymmetrical factory keel, this package replaces everything and upgrades your boat's performance instantly.

WHAT IS INCLUDED:
1,500 lb Cast Iron Swing Keel – Completely stripped,Rust treated with rust bullet, true-profiled, faired for optimal laminar flow, and fully encased in a protective fiberglass/epoxy barrier. It is smooth, highly efficient, and sealed against cast-iron rust and blistering.

Brand-New Factory Mounting Hardware – Includes a brand-new factory-spec bronze keel hanger kit, pivot pin, and heavy-duty stainless lifting hardware. Zero hours on these components.

THE VALUE:
A standard salvaged keel requires hundreds of dollars in rust treatment and weeks of filthy grinding. A factory-rough keel creates massive drag. This assembly minimizes upwind leeway, increases lift, and completely eliminates the regular maintenance nightmare of underwater cast-iron rust.

LOGISTICS & SHIPPING:
This item is extremely heavy (approx. 1,500 lbs).

Local Pickup: Bring a heavy-duty truck or trailer. I have equipment on-site to help load it safely.
