Yesterday, I went to turn on power in Passage and the rotary power switch felt wrong and it spun loose, then fell off. Prior to this it has worked like a charm for decades.
I looked inside the plastic shaft and noticed that two small tangs or wings that were sticking out of the rotor had snapped off.
After I disassembled the switch, I found that the working portion of the contacts were in good shape, but the piece that engages the knob to the mechanism appeared to be difficult to repair with the tools I had on hand.
I drove to my local west marina store, and they had a reasonable-looking and functional replacement, however, when I replaced it into the original hole in the galley area, it really didn’t look attractive at all.
Here’s what the original looks like Blue Sea PN9006
It has a red and green background with a very smooth-looking knob.
The replacements look cheaper and less “yar” in my opinion

If you know where I can find a serviceable salvage, please let me know.
I’d appreciate it
