Posted - 05/02/2022 : 18:47:59 My Tohatsu is a 9.8 hp 4 Stroke with E-start. Believe it weighs 110 lbs. I need a heavy duty bracket that can lift the motor out of the water. I have researched brackets from Garelick and Panther.: any opinion on these Brackets?

Posted - 05/03/2022 : 15:38:46 I have the same 9.8 Tohatsu. The 4 spring Garhauer from CD is what I have and works perfectly. You will need the 16 3/4" of travel( up and down) that these mounts have.

Posted - 05/02/2022 : 22:21:38 Here's one thread from a quick Search. The Garhauer mentioned is an updated version of the original stainless steel bracket on most C-25s, and fits the same bolt holes. Vertical travel is among the best. Pick the number of springs for the weight. You can see it on the Catalina Direct site.
