For those C250 owners who are thinking or looking for a solution to find an alternate stove top that will replace the Princess stove and also will closely fit in its vacant cavity, you may wish to consider the following

It is perhaps not the most economical solution but will function and look original.

Thanks for the find. The burner looks very nice.

We use the princes burner occasionally, but are trying to get away from propane on the boat.

We recently purchased an induction cooktop which can be set to use 600 watts of power.

We run it off of a Victron phoenix 12/1200 inverter which handles the load just fine when the cooktop is set to 600w.

The house battery is a 200 amp hour DIY lithium 12v.

Cooking a meal uses about 10-15 amp hours on average and is replaced with a couple of hours of sunlight with 200 watts of solar on the bimini.

Regards, Chris

Panther has a number of nice looking propane stoves/cook-tops. A couple of two burners for $158 (black) and $205 (SS). Still would prefer to find an old Origo alcohol model, however nice stuff.

Henk, what a great find! While I use a portable stove on my C-25, for folks who’d like to replace their built-in on a C-250, this should be ideal. Yes, it’s a little pricey but if you want nice things you “gotta spend a buck”. You might try and put it on your Christmas or holiday list with coordinates to the RV website…
