With trailer a big plus - to sail on TN river in NE Alabama, but will travel any reasonable distance to find the right boat. Must be in good/excellent shape with solid hull and deck and no leaks into cabin.

Fits your description sans trailer. Reasonable distance? We just bid out hauling a 34' sailboat a similar distance (1300 mi) at $2800.

Hello!
I have an 84 fixed keel c25 in Pennsylvania near MD line. Fresh water boat with mercury motor that has 10 hours on it. We traveled to see alot of frogs before we found this girl.
Interested in finding clean, well kept boat please let me know.

I have a 1990 Catalina 25 std rig, wing keel, sailed on fresh water only, second owner, 12 years on a hydohost. Hull is perfect, boat is very well cared for. Tons of extras. On Tenkiller Lake in Oklahoma, near the Arkansas border. This was the last year of the classic design. Lots of nice teak. Let me know if you want more info.

I have a 1990 Catalina 25 std. wing keel, fresh water only, first twelve years on a hydrohost, the balance slipped at Tenkiller Lake in Oklahoma near the Arkansas border. This 1990 is the last year for the classic design and extra teak inside. The boat has been well cared for and is in great shape. Lots of extras. More info let me know.

Dan - I have an 84 fixed keel. It is not a pop-top, but it is very clean and dry. I sail her every weekend and am considering moving up to a larger boat. The Nissan O/B has been serviced; I replaced the masthead light, sheaves, and all standing rigging, inlcuding the spreaders this year; I repainted the bottom last year (and it is in good shape). It has a Magma grill and an alcohol stove (burners need cleaning and I don't use it). As for sails there are two hank-on jibs - 90% and 120%. The main is in good shape and has one reef point. Running rigging is in good shape, including a new spinnaker halyard. You may not want to come this far, but there it is!

Jim,We are also looking for a nice late model C25. We presently have a very nice '86 C22, and are looking for a little bigger weekender-cruiser. Interested if danml is not. I will have further questions if we proceed. Thanks, Dan
