After viewing the tape from CD I've bought a downhaul, looking forward to easier single handle sailing. But the new jib doesn't seem to like the idea. Any suggestions? thanks Frants
Make sure you weave it through a couple times, between about each three or four hanks and do not connect to the head, connect one hank down. If you pull the head over it will jam. If you have very small hanks then larger hanks can help any sail come down. My 80% has very large hanks, at 25-30 I want a sail that drops like a rock.
