Just noticed that the 2005 Nationals Results are posted on the racing forum. That is great!

Now.....why in the $^^&&%$#@ can't we get the 2004 results up??? Okay....who do I pay? How much? Or...who do I sue??? This is so insulting......to all of the 22 boats that registered and paid, and all the folks who flew in a traveled. They DESERVE this!

Again.....here is the site: https://home.comcast.net/~fleet94/race%20results.htm

What more can I do????

Frustrated in Washington,

Why is it the only regatta that doesn't have the venue listed? (Columbia River, Portland, OR/WA)

Cute, Frank, but since when is it the Organizer's job to complete a narrative? I have explained to Paul that I could not do an "objective" job at this. I poured my heart and soul into that regatta. I was in hopes that an attendee would have written up a response. If you hadn't put a "wink" in there, I probably would have over-reacted.

The point is, the results have been available for quite some time and MANY requests have been put in to have them posted. Finally, Paul has done it. Sincerely, "thank you". I am happy with that.

If any participants wants to write up a narrative, that would be great, but, unlike SOME people, I ain't gonna toot my own horn....

I don't want to read a bunch of complaints about the lack of wind during those days; it was beyond my control. Maybe I WILL write something that does give credit to my fellow fleetmates who did an amazing job, I thought.

We really should NOT be in competition, Frank. You did a fine job on the 2005 Nationals. I thought maybe you would understand how frustrating it has been to wait this long; the results have been on our LOCAL website for over a year now.....

Yeah, but you're not running for office.

I don't think he'll come back and say it, so I'll say it for him. Believe me, he does.

All's well that ends well. Now, on to 2006! (So that we can collectively beat up on Duane.)

Ah, time for another old navy saying.

Blow your own horn before someone else uses it as a spitoon.
