My forward hatch allowed some water in during a recent heavy rain. I assume that the gasket needs replacement. Has anyone ever done that and where did you get the replacement? I am also wondering whether it would be practical to replace the hatch with one that would allow light in and provide a better seal.
Was you boat in the water or on the trailer when the leak occurred? If it was on the trailer might have something to do with boat sitting with the bow to high causing the water not to drain property.
I had two types of leaks up in that hatch over the years. The first was the gasket and it was an easy fix. Any hardware store sells the material and I wrapped it around the whole lip. The second leak ended up being one of the thru bolts that attached to the lift arm. Took that all apart and rebedded the bolt. All better and dry up front. BUT you situation sounds like a result of your not being level. Good luck.
