The ramp at Pennekamp park is one of the best in the Keys. It's wide and deep, just be sure not to drive off the edge as powerboaters have dug it out. You cannot park overnight in the park unless you have a mooring ball, or slip, or camping spot. I recommend the mooring balls, as they are quite convenient. There is also a shower pavilion at the end of the parking lot down from the ramp. The slips are relatively cheap. A couple of miles up the road is Mrs Mac's kitchen, great for breakfast. They lock the gate at night, so be sure you have the gate code.
