It's a short 80 nautical miles from Milwaukee. Last time the nationals were in Holland, I came from Kewaunee, Wisconsin which was a fun 115 nautical miles.

If anybody else is considering attending from the western shore, maybe we should put together a western armada.

Greg,

There will be a group from the All Catalina Fleet 21 heading across. I doubt plans are finalized yet, though. I believe the intent is to party at Northpoint Marina near the Wisconsin border, head to Racine and then cross over. I'll see if I can hook you up with someone. Or, you can poke around www.catfleet21.org and maybe post a message there.

I'm definitely going to Holland, but am still not 100% sure I'll take the boat. If I do, I'll probably cross further south.

Greg,

I now know of at least 4 boats making the crossing together from Sheboygan, Wisconsin to Pentwater, Michigan, then heading south to Holland. I'm sending you a separate email with a contact. Hope this works out for you and see you in Holland. <img src=icon_smile_cool.gif border=0 align=middle>
