I have a 2000 Mercury 3hp outboard For Sale $400.00, (outboard only)
Excellent Shape, Use it every other year, gas always run out of carb after use. Used it on my dinghy which I also only use once every other year, (Catalina Island trip, every other year). Reason for selling is I purchased a used Hunter 25 that needed a new outboard. So I purchased a used motor but was only a 20" long shaft and found out I need a 25" long shaft and now need to purchase another motor for the sailboat. So am going to use the 20" for my dinghy and sell the 3hp Mercury. This motor has the gas tank on top and does not have a forward and reverse. Starts in gear and if you need reverse you turn the motor around. This setup is common with the small outboards. I will send a pic if you are interested.
