Just bought a C25 with a busted knotmeter (the guage itself is broken, indicator arrow off - though the light still works, lol). Though I'm thinking of using/updating my GPS, if I could find a used knotmeter would be nice if I could replace it, even for looks sake. Any ideas?

The old, huge Signet? For cosmetics sake, it's easy to make a teak or mahogany pad to cover the hole or mount a more modern unit in the same 'space'.

A few years ago, I sent my broken Signet digital display back to the manufacturer (Signet) and they said that it would make more sense to replace the unit rather than repairing it due to its age and cost of repair. They offered me a credit on a new unit, but I opted to change over to a Standard Horizon product to match my depth sounder.

Try contacting Signet and tell them what is wrong with your SL11. Maybe they can offer advice on whether to repair or replace.

Good Luck.
