I have also been experiencing slowness limited only to the forums. Ships Store, Technical Tips, etc. all access very quickly.

Hi All, I am having the same problem. However, I have my main computer and a laptop in the house using wireless router. I have been using my main computer for this forum and just now tried the forum with the laptop and it was fast. I am wonering if the forum is putting something on our computers that is slowing them down when in the forum. Like Jaclasch said, it is only the forum and not all the other features of the site. Cheers.

She's not dragging anchor, she's run aground.

I figure the erratic behavior is due to tidal action.

High tide and she moves ok. I could only find out what
tide table to use I'd know when to log on.

It is extremely frustrating!!!!...It took me quite awhile just to answer this topic!

Although I haven't yet given up on using the forum (I'm a glutton for punishment), I wonder how many others have lost patience and abandoned ship?

Ditto. Glad to see my dial-up is not responsible. I expect some delays with dial-up, but this is just plain annoying.

As you probably know the officers have been working with this issue for a while, if you can all hang on for another month or so, we should have everything in place an ready to go by the new year.

I have full confidence that our officers will get this "slowness" problem resolved. I was wondering if the slow speed, and timing out problem is due to so many people using this forum? If this is the case, then maybe we should re-think letting non members post to the forum. If too many postings is not the cause, then never mind

I have a fibre optic connection, and slow speeds drive me nuts
