Sometimes it's very fast, sometimes very slow. I am a member of a number of forums for power boats, sail boats and RVs...this is by far the least predicable...and slowest.

hey friends, we are well aware of this ongoing problem. Soon, we will be catalina25s.com on a new web host. We'll have all new graphics and a new logo. We'll have integrated the Capri 25. Until then, there is not much we can do. We are locked into the current hosting company - which is very bad and slow - because Sailnet owns our domain name and won't release it (boycot them). Be patient. We are on the road to the solution.

Sounds good Jim. This forum, regardless of how slow it has been, has been a God Send for me as a new/old boat owner. I think I have gained twenty years of experience in just two months. If you saw the movie "the Matrix", there is a seen when Trinity needed to know how to fly a hughy helicopter. They download a program in her head and just like that, she know how to fly the chopper. That is what this forum has been like for me. The responses from follow sailors like Frank and Leon and others has made the experience wonderful. Good job on this forum. I do appriceate it. Cheers.

Hey Jim,
so the new owners of Sailnet won't release our domain name? You bet I'll boycott them. When you verify this, I'll send them an e-mail and tell them just that, and why. I think we all should send them this E-mail. Strength in numbers, and all that.

Just so's ya know, I wasn't complaining, per se, just making an observation. I'm happy as a carp in a septic tank, even when things are slow.

If we find out that they didn't release it I think we should all send them an e-mail telling them of a boycott.
