I am not crazy about the rather large size of the cabin table in my C250.
I've searched for drop in replacement tables online with no luck. Does anyone know where I can buy one, preferably a side fold up design? (I am not a wood worker so I'd rather buy than make.)

Thanks,
Kurt

Here is a link given to me by someone here on the board that has installed it in his cabin. All teak and fold up to a smaller usable table. He used his exhisting pedestal.

<font color="blue"><font size="5"><font face="Comic Sans MS">I bought this table from the West Marine suplus store in Berkley,Ca.
Same one shown in catalog above.
This table mounts on the existing table pedistal, but with shorter screws, leave a little room between the pole and table, this will allow table to rotate 15 deg or so.
I could not build a table this cheap....fantastic hinges....and on underside sliding support wood brakets for table leaves.

Paul, when you say, "...a table this cheap...", how much did you pay for it? Current West Marine catalog lists it for $320.00 (p. 880)
That ain't cheap, mate.

<font color="blue"><font size="5"><font face="Comic Sans MS">I purchased the table at the West Marine's surplus,discontinued,overstocked and returns store in Emeryville,Ca.

If you have the time and cheap transportation available to you then look at thrift stores or Goodwill stores and you will find some top drawer quality tables and/or trays that fold, slide, stack, and some have small drawers.....teak, walnut, easy clean plastic, stainless steel....cut off the legs or whatever...
HEY if you want to barter... go to the flea market and have a wonderfull time....brings back memories I'll tell ya

I believe I saw something like that on ebay as well. Don't remember the price but it was no where near $300.

For those interested in buiding a table and looking for an easy route and good source of wood... check out the buys on wood TV tables. My wife recently bought two at some outlet store that are either teak or a very close look alike made in Thialand.

Dimensions are 3/4 X 14.5 X 18.5 which are good numbers for the 250. The legs provide ample materiel to fiddle the top on an over the top leaf design or of course a drop leaf table could be contructed from two of these tables. Wood all ready joined and planed with sutiable dimensions for a table for the 250 will not be likely found elsewhere at a better price.

My wife bought ($10 each)two tables as gifts and noting the wood, I suggested its value for boat use. When we later saw the same designed tables at Walmart ($8 each) in a light colored wood, we bought those for the gifts and reserved the teak for the boat. I wished I had a couple more but the outlet store she got them at is not close.
