What do you mean, "locked"?...I've not noticed.

Qustionable topics usually just disappear....

I tried responding to a post and there was a RED check on a box stating topic locked. I've never seen such a thing and thought I'd ask.

Did anyone find a answer to this? I found a thread I wanted to ask a question and its locked.

The administration is using the locked topic icon to keep that post at the top of the column. Could be the motive for locking a topic. It may have other applications but???

VAl -archived posts are locked. The forum down post is also locked so that no one responds to it.

The sticky function is what they use to keep things on the top.
