Is the standard 110 jib that comes with the 250 UV protected on both sides of the jib? I wonder if the sail has one side only UV protection. I looked at the panels and while the luff panels appear to be a different color, there doesn't seem to be a diff

I can't answer your question about what side the uv protection is on, but I have done a couple of things. When I first got my boat I found that the previous owner had a dacron pannel installed on the sail for protection. The problem was that i

I found the sock had too much windage. When it blows in the marina the foil really moved.

When I raise the sock, I send an extra line with it. I wrap this line around the sock (tightly) to reduce windage. This does a good job of keeping the sock from flapping in the breeze.
