I'm done fighting with the sliding (Leaking) window above the porti-potty. I'm going to redo the window with tinted plexiglass.
Does anyone know the thickness of the window pane itself?

The newer boats came with this Lewmar. I have them and love them. Maybe you should consider changing to them.

hey! I'm missing a screw!!

Your photos have always been a big help to me but it seems like lately whatever post they land on becomes a mile wide.Is there any way to make them fit the screen?
Thanks,Craig

I upgraded the head port lites on OJ (1981, #2428) to the Lewmar brand. Pricey - yes, extremely high quality - yes.

Hi Craig, welcome to a recurring subject. I post pictures two ways, one is from my ISP host where I have most of the photos sized smaller than the one above. The other is from my .mac web pages where photos are sized by the software interface between my photo app iPhoto and .mac's hosting function. Those photos are the size above. I think the new forum design and the fact that most of my recent photos are about my 89 from .mac exacerbates the problem for some. I do post a lot of pictures. I hope it is one of the things I bring to this table. I have quite a few people ask about other things in photos that are not related to the thread subject, large photos facilite that. Many people post links or thumbnail links to photos and that is fine, I think the photo function of this forum software is one of its strongest features so I use it. When I am posting a photo that is specific to a question as opposed to one that coincidentally addresses the issue, I take the photo out of iPhoto, into Photoshop, crop and size it, post it on cox.com and then put it in the thread, (note the photo I posted yesterday in the general forum about jacklines and reefs). While not a huge event it takes a while to find the right photo and manipulate and post it. If I did that every time I would post far fewer photos which I would like to think would be a bad thing.
As an aside which nearly always shows me as the unpleasant person I really am; I also think that people who are not on a broadband connection and using a minimum of 1024 X 768 should realise that they are not digitally mature and cope as best they can until they upgrade their equipment. (If I were on dialup I would not be here at all.)

Frank,

I am set at 1024 x 768. It is easy enough to scroll over after you've inserted an image. The fit is perfect. I appreciate the extra detail the larger photos show.

Frank, Does that mean you have a screw Loose? :) BTW On "Leprechaun" we have the plastic trim rings that cover, well they keep falling off so I contacted Lewmar and they were VERY customer friendly and sent new Velcro strips to me..No Charge, I am going to attach them as soon as we warm up !

I took mine off because I like the aluminum look, in fact I need to peel the velcro off. I have the rings in the vanity storage.

Your perception of you being an unpleasant person probably doesn't come from what you say but rather how you chose to say it.

Ya think?
Don, you crack me up. You are probably the best ambassador of our association we have. Your posts are always timely and productive. I think that a lot of our first time posters return knowing they are welcome and among friends because of you. That you get that done over dialup is amazing.

This is what I found and subscribed to for our Yacht Club, it is cheap and fast.satellite broadband
