On the port side of the stern there is this 3" to 4" round PVC looking thing that goes through the deck into the compartment below. It is wide open on my boat and I was wondering what it's for, since I want to somehow cover it in case I get into rough seas I don't want her to take on water there.
Anybody know what the thing is?
