Hi All, I went to a professional painters store last Friday and found an professional painters extention pole for $40.00 that goes from 8 to 16 feet. It seems strong enough but what should I do with the ends? One end is just open one and one half inch fiberglass tube and the other end is the normal screw that goes into the end of a roller handle. Any suggestions? I'd like to make it work for that price. Cheers.
Defender has a number of different pole ends. The 1.5 inch stuff is all on clearance, might need to go pick something up quick. Look for ones by ronstan, or the very last ones listed on the spars/spinnaker ends page
Thanks Frank and Duane. I think I can make this work. I will post pics as soon as I get the parts. It would be cool to put together a usable pole for under $60.00 Cheers.
