Any comments on keeping a C25 on Lake Monroe, Sanford, Fl. I am tired or trailering and the slip fee is reasonable. What about cruising on the St Johns river?

Thanks,

I don't know how sailing would be on Lake Monroe, but it's foresure large enough. You can travel up the St. John's all the way to the Ocean from there if you have a inkling. Our Fleet will be traveling down river in June to Silver Glenn Springs (Lake George). It will be a three to four day trip for us from Flemming Island (Jacksonville Area), depending on how long we stay at the Springs.

Jesse C,

Last I heard, 'Ben_FL' keeps a C-250 on the St. Johns. You might try posting this question on the General Forum for more visibility.

Looks like a done deal for me, the cost of a slip/availability on
ICW out towards Titusville-Cocoa is too rich for me. Looks like
Lake Monroe, Sanford will work. Besides I can crawl back from The
Alley (Blues bar) in old downtown Sanford. I would like to hook up with you guys from the north, let me know the days you are coming to Silver Glen, I figure fron Monroe Harbour to Silver Glen is 52
miles and from I-95 to Silver Glen is 86 miles.

Thanks

All of us fleet 25ers, including Ben-FL keep our boats in about the same area about 10 miles south of Downtown Jacksonville. We have a small but active group. You are welcome to join us but it is haul from way down there where you are.
