Just looked at the finished results... that may be the coolest... er, I mean hottest C25 interior project ever.

Mmmmm... I can literally taste those muffins.

John, Great Job!, Did you also insulate the ice box when you had that all cut apart? I look forward to seeing you and Nin Bimash II at the National Regatta. With "Leprechaun" almost in the water....

Hi Alan, I had previously tried to insulate the ice box before I gave up and made into my wine cellar. There was some insulation that I removed from the failed experiment. There is simply no way to make the original box to keep anything cold. There are two bolts that run from the inside of the old ice box into the stove to secure it.

I'm looking forward to the Nationals. There are many members with whom I have developed on line friendships, and who I will be honored to meet in person.

John, Everyone seems to use the icebox as dry storage/ wine rack. We do that as well. Anyway, you did a great job. We will see you in cleveland!

I changed the topic heading again. after several weeks of work on my production of Oklahoma (next weekend) I finished the galley by re-installing the counter top I removed to accomodate the stove. It now serves as a drop down table, and now finished it looks pretty good. go directly to:
