Sean, when I click your URLs my screen freezes up. I get the message "program not responding". Is this my computer problem or is there a problem with your URLs? Thanks.

When I click on Sean's picture URLs everything freezes and I get the notice Program Not Responding. But when I right click on Keith's pictures, copy the URL from Properties, and paste it into my browser address bar, the picture appears. Anyone know why this is happening and how I can correct it?

Sean, is your salon table a replacement for the big, no drop down leaf type, or is it original? If a replacement, did you build it yourself or buy it from a chandlery? Thanks.

Hey Frank ,
Ya I made it myself with marine plywood from the lumber yard.
I traced the old one on top.I put a cigeret lighter (double)
for the tv, and the antena gain control faceing front .I`ll take a picture.I ran the wires down the inside of the support to the bilge area then back to a fuse panel I bought from west marine 12 car style fuses you just put a hot and nutral to it.
Very easy. I also raised the table 3" it was so hard to get around before.
thanks Keith ,I thought the pics would have been posted that way .My first time posting pics

Sean:
Fantastic pictures. Very nice results.
Do you have a list of your mods on the Association Forum?
Are there key words so I can do a 'Search'of your Mods?
Thanks.

Hey frank ,
I went to Rings End lumber in Darien CT.I just looked around till I found these brackets(2 hours) ,you pull on them and they relese.
I dont know what thier called but thier pretty heavy duty .It will pull the screws out before they bend.
Ill mail you pics to your site, there was more if you could not click on them.

I suppose Home Depot or Lowes or Ace Hardware would have 'em. When you get a chance would you e-mail me a close-up of one? Thanks.

sure .home depot has a lighter duty brass bracket.
Its thin 6" long (folded) they keep it with all the brass hardware .all it does is hold the table up.
its not solid brass either
you would need a hinge if you use that one.I looked at west marines stainless steel piano hinge.
I thought about a wood peg that slides in and out to hold the leaf up.
Ill take more pics

Sean to get the picture on the post you need to go to reply to topic or new topic, then click on the fourth icon form the right in the format section. It looks like a yellow square when you are ready to insert a picture. That will give you (img) (/img) with the cursor at the end of them, you need to move the cursor in-between these and paste the URL there then it will show up in the post.

(img)paste your picture URL here(/img)

Frank can you copy the URL in the first post and paste it in your browser address bar and get that to work?

Great mods.
Silly me, I thought I was nearing the end of my 'wannado' list!

Really like the cabin table and the seperators in the cockpit lockers: Would you post more info on the seperators.
I'm guessing you made a template from cardboard, then cut out bits of starboard and caulked them in place.. or did you glass them in?

Paul

Keith, yes I can copy and paste Sean's URL's into my browser and see them, but why can't I see them when I click on 'em in his post? BTW, when I go to your profile and click on the link to send you an e-mail, nothin', screen just freezes up: NOT RESPONDING. Is this problem me or...?

Hi Britinusa,
Yes I used cardbord to trace on wood.It takes awhile to get a tight fit. then I put wood inserts for those adjustable felt pads (home depot) And cauked it in.
I also epoxyed oak to the lid for two more pads.
My lid flexed real bad ,the lid in front would flex over the edge makeing alot of noise .
the other side is fine it has the propane box ,it sits on top of that. very solid I was going to put one of those boxs in there till I seen how much they cost.
insted of useing wood you can use that marine lumber(plastic)
