I spent some time today surfing this site and checking out some of the new features. I think the site is coming along nicely.

The other day I realized that I had not renewed my membership in awhile. I dont know if there is a letter sent out to remind members to pay. But, as I have moved recently, I have not recieved anything. I found the form that we are to print out and mail in with a check. I also found the ships store section. I wondering if it would be possible to pay my dues using paypal?

Awhile ago, I too wondered about my membership status since I hadn't received a renewal in quite some time until I remembered that I renewed with the 2 year option.

Thanks, Don and Dennis. The association's going to need new officer's come October, a Treasurer for certain, and your initiative and willingness to help uniquely qualify you to serve. (Hint, hint)

Renewal letters are mailed the quarter your Mainsheet Magazine subscription runs out. However, they don't always get where they are supposed to go.

As a clarification for others that may read this thread and do not know, you will be taken to an acknowledgement page after completing the membership registration form. There is a PayPal button on the acknowledgement page for those that would like to pay by credit card.

FYI, the forthcoming TellTale will include association financial information that will explain this in greater detail, but the association is now losing money on those members that exercise the 2 year option. So, it is highly likely to be going away very soon in deference to a smaller increase in annual dues, because we would have to double the overall increase in order to continue subsidizing a 2 year discount option.

I am now the newest member of the Catalina Family
Sorry I didn't mail out the check like I stated yesterday, still sitting on the desk here at work. Is there a way of getting the last copy of the mainsheet, so I can read up on the Capri 25 stuff. I put on the membership that I would become an editor for the Capri 25. If anyone can scan and Email it to me I would love you all forever.....
(just the Catalina 25/250 Capri pages.

I might suggest a link somewhere on the top of the forum that states you can pay by credit card, and join. I would have done it a long time ago.

Hey, great news, Chris!

The Secretary usually receives a few additional copies of the Mainsheet, so send Kris Underwood (Coach) an email with your request and mailing address.

John Gisondi is our Editor for the Mainsheet Magazine, so please send him an email letting him know. Also, I'm sure Frank Hopper can give you some pointers on what and what not to do.

Welcome aboard (officially)!
