Fleet 25 here in N.E. Fla. had our first cruise of the year last weekend. And a beautiful weekend it was. Temps in the 70s and lots of sunshine. And most all... breezey. I took Chick-a-pea out Friday night to gunkhole in Hollowes Cove and escape the city. Dropped anchor about 2230 after a very nice cruise close hauled on a single starboard tack.
Saturday around 1100 I heard from Pretty Penny II that she and the other two were nearing Mkr 17. So I weighed anchor and set sail from the cove to fall in with them at Mkr 19. We arrived at Palmo Cove around 1600 and motored up Six Mile Ck. to The Out Back Crab Shack were we had dinner.
After dinner we shoved off to raft up in the Cove for the night. Sunday morning was gorgeous and we got under way just before 0900 to head back.

Ok, envy is growing again. We have not met up with any catalinas down here in SoFla yet. Bet you guys all had a lot of fun, it was a great weekend (we were out on Biscayne Bay Fri,Sat,Sun) It's amazing what we can glean from a few pictures. Like the second set of winches (were they on Mustang?) I can see how that makes single handing a lot easier.
Thanks for the pictures. Owned my Catalina 25 only a few months last sailing season never really sailed--The pictures are great motivation to get the boat rigged and get sailing early this season. Again great pictures thanks
