I was looking at Oscars tech tip for curtain installation and he references a topic link, which is now broken due to the move.

Are these links fixable or is this information lost?

You might also want to consider the Snap Tape route, which I installed on Antares (sorry, no pictures). I purchased the Snap Tape track, tape and sliders at West Marine, and then picked up some sailboat fabric remnants on eBay; even had enough to make two pillow covers. Total time and cost very similar to Oscar's solution.
