Here is some photo's of my Memorial Day sail. Again as in years past I run the boat down to San Diego bay and stay in a slip for the three days. Friday was gray but there were some good wind 15-18 knots and it was good to get out on the boat again. Saturday was about the same but Sunday the sun came out and I was seeing up to 20-knot winds. I don't like to lay it over past 40 degrees so I just pulled in the jib and went under main until it calmed down. The first is looking up at the bottom of the Coronado Bridge. I had put the jib back up at this point. The second picture is of me just relaxing and enjoying the day with the Coronado bridge behind me. There were 2 carriers in port this one is the Midway. I think the other one was the Nimitz. As you can see in the last picture they will park anything here in San Diego bay. You couldn’t ask more from a day of sailing, though once I got out of the bay the swells were up that day 6-8 feet.
