I am!...but I have to wait until much later in the summer or possibly even fall. All my boat units have been taken away for a new house. I can't seem to convince my wife that we could live on the boat.
Can I bring my SCUBA and lobstering gear? Sure would be nice. We're expecting a grandbaby any day now in my family. But please keep me posted. If I can talk the admiral into it, I love to go. I don't think she would want to go. But I solo all the time anyway.
I just scraped my hull down last Sunday. Went out to the boat today and dropped the mast while she was in her slip to install a block for the topping lift. Had it done in an hour and a half. Bad news though. The line I paid $60. for is too short. I'm hoping to be able to tape a new one to the old one and pull it through the top. The good news is that I didn't attempt to climb up it like last time. Much safer.
Spent two nights on Chick-a-pea last weekend to sail downtown to the free Bonnie Raitt concert at Metro Park. (pictures to follow, it's almost midnight and I got to hit the sack)
