A friend of mine is looking at a Catalina 27 in Nassau county on Long Island today and asked if I could help him find a reputable, competent surveyor.

Anyone have any suggestions of surveyors they know or have worked with on or near Long Island?

I used Accredited Marine Surveyors (Jim Dias) 800.426.2825 to survey my
C-25 in Mamaroneck, but I believe he works in LI. Anyway, they are approved by Boat U.S. and I liked the job Jim did. His was also the least expensive quote.
