I am in Chicago for a conference next week, 5/30-6/2. I was interested in tips for either crew opportunities in the evening or just a recommendation for the good dinner spot near the water and boats.

A club would be fine if they recognize reciprocal privileges with other yacht clubs.

Last year Steve Madden gave me a great dinner recommendation for Ft. Meyers so I am hoping for some similar local knowledge.
