I do not recall ever getting an issue of that magazine but.....looks like I will be seeking it out for the August edition for starters.
Hmmm....maybe you should set up something in the Swap Meet or Ship's Store if anyone wants to acquire an autographed copy of the August article along with some glossies of you and your boat.
Way to go Dennis...I told ya that $516 would be worth it! And a plastic Lats & Atts mug to boot.
It will be interesting to see how they edit your story. I used to write for Air Canada's Onboard magazine, so as soon as I saw this thread my editing self stirred.

I hope they don't edit the part about not eating any more Combos, that was when the impact of the bad day seemed to set in deeply.
Glad you made it back OK with just a minor tuition bill from the School of Hard Knocks.

Frank ... you're cracking me up ... does that comment fall under the heading of "confession is good for the soul?"
Here is a link to Dennis's story ... and it is a GOOD one!

Good to hear they will print from a real sailor (i.e. like me), instead of some dude been circumnavigating north-to-south since he was 3.
Hi Duane, Yep I just got a note back from Jim from Mainsteet instructing the same. That seems a bit odd to only submit to the local/class editors. Not a big deal, just don't know the reasons. Thanks. Cheers.

Beautiful women are by definition beautiful. I am delighted my fellow female sailors have fashion options that look so great. Maybe that is why I do not curl.
